2 variations

Materials:

A softer size 10 thread (like DMC Cebelia) in black or color of choice, size 5 steel hook, 36" length of 1/4" satin ribbon, 3 beads of choice.

Instructions (for variation 01):
(Worked in the Mile-a-Minute pattern):
Ch 6, join into ring. Ch3, 2dc, ch 2, 3dc in ring.
Ch 3, turn, work 3 dc, ch2, 3dc in ch-2 space of previous row.
Ch 3, turn, rep last row until crocheted neck jewelry measures approx. 12" or length desired. Fasten off. Attach beads to lower edge of center front loop of crocheted neck jewelry by crocheting a short chain on which to thread them. Place beads over chain, tie a large enough knot (may have to triple-tie to get it big enough so beads won't fall off) below lowest bead, weave in thread ends securely and trim. Weave 36" of 1/4" ribbon through center ch-2 spaces along length of crocheted neck jewelry. To wear, tie ribbon at back of neck with bead trim at center front.
