Pair
of size 10 (6 mm) needles (Note: smaller needle sizes can be used
with thinner yarns to produce smaller pins.)
Assorted vintage buttons (3/4” to 1”)
Assorted faceted beads (1/4”)
Tapestry needle
Sewing
needle and thread
Pin-back or safety pin
Gauge: Not
critical for this project. Finished length of flat strip = approx.

Pattern notes:
Piece
begins at base of strip which is worked back and forth in rows with
eyelet increases to form ruffle.
Finished piece is rolled and sewn into a rosette, then embellished
with a variety of buttons and beads.

Bind
off in knit. Cut yarn, leaving 8” tail. Roll strip into rosette
shape and use yarn tails to tack layers together.
Finishing:
With
sewing thread and needle, sew on buttons and/or beads in center of
rosette as desired (see photos for placement ideas).
Sew on
pin-back or attach safety pin to back of rosette.
