After 30+ years of knitting & crocheting for family, friends and charities, I began writing easy-to-understand patterns for original designs. The first designs were published in charity newsletters and through the Christmas Crochet online community. When a local yarn shop opened in town, I offered services in sample-making, pattern writing and teaching. One lucky day, a sales rep spotted the patterns in the shop. Designs by KN became a reality! A selection of DBKN patterns is now offered to yarn shops coast-to-coast, through a distributor.
 

Participation in local craft fairs led to invitations to join craft galleries, followed by the excitement of seeing DBKN patterns published in national magazines (Knit Simple, Knit.1 and Crochet Today!)

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the success of DBKN.  I am fortunate to have had so many opportunities to share with others the joys of knitting & crocheting. Here's to many pleasant hours spent with yarn, patterns, books, knitting needles, crochet hooks, and cups of tea (with furry friend companions on your lap!)
